Are you using an H23 head or keeping the F23 head? How much compression?

There is no aftermarket intake manifold for the F23, and if anyone mentions the one from F22parts.com - It's crap, they never even dynoed it.

F23 head, intake ports opened up to match h22/h23 runners, therefore I could use the H23 manifold I have and have it ported or possibly the skunk2. I'll have an aggressive cam bisi 2.2 and 11.5:1 compression so it might be an option?

it will fit because the F23 ports have been matched to that of the h22/h23, as far as the firewall i don't know

I don't believe it will. I tried to fit my Euro-R IM onto my spare F23 head, and finally concluded it wasn't worth half the hassle. I forget exactly what issues there were, but I'll go mock it up tomorrow and let you know.
