The 6thgen staff would like to congratulate Vimal on his ROTM win!!! His accord is one of the nicest and most recognizable across the web. So it is a privilege for us to have him representing our website. Vimal's car has seen many changes over the past and just goes to show his dedication and importance he places on the fine details. So without further adieu I present Vimal's accord. Congrats!!!

1. Is this your first car?
No, 2nd. first car was 91 accord sedan
2. How did you end up with the accord?
I split the cost with parents after graduating high school. bought it used in 2003 for 15k.
3. When did you first start modifying cars?
first mod was exhaust done in 2003/4 but the real modding started in 2006/7
4. Did you run into any problems along the way when you were modifying stuff?
yes with about half my installs/parts creation i did run into some roadblocks but was obviously able to figure things out, im an avid DIYer so i like to figure things out for myself rather than drop cash at a shop and have someone else put in the wrench time on MY car. (thats also a nice way to say that im cheap and dont believe in $90+/hr labor to do some simple shyt i can do myself in 15 min.)
5. Why do you do it? Why not leave it stock?
because this is now MY car and not a car i just bought from Honda.
6. What other mods do you have planned for the car?
Carbon Fiber Hood, CF Roof (DIY) and shaved CF Trunk and probably a lot more. it never ends.
7. Any other cars you're tinkering with?
i help my friends with modding their cars but i dont own another car so this is it for me.
8. What's your favorite thing about your car, specifically? Which money do you feel was your best investment?
the headlights are the thing that put me apart from everyone else. to this day nobody has managed to make a set quite like mine. they were pricey (in parts) and took forever to figure out but the end result is worth it.
9. Is there anybody you would like to credit or thank for helping you along the way?
i have to thank V6P (my first forum) for teaching me how to mod my car, then later 6GA for the same reasons, and last but not least, my team... TeamREV for being there for me when i need help with modding my car and just being awesome supportive friends in general.
