i know camera sliders are rather expensive however i came across these diys.

i know there are many professional photographers here and many intermediate photographers as well, and these wouldn't even be considered... but for the novice/beginner these seem like a painless fix for those who like the slide effect for their youtube videos

Good stuff, I like that second one. I'm going to be building one myself too, not sure when, but I've been wanting to get into doing videos, just for fun, and def want a roller and some sort of "steady cam" set-up to use, just don't want to spend a lot of money on it lol. In fact, the videographers at the last wedding I did brought a DIY slider they made out of metal pipes, and the camera platform slid along them with angled roller skate wheels. They had it all painted black and it looked pretty nice, got the job done!

yeah i figured it looked like it would work + it saves money, why not right
