not sure if this is the right section, but my car (01 accord ex sedan) has recently been putting the brake light on my cluster. the ligth will go off when i apply the brake sometimes but comeback on as soon as i let go of the brake. should i be worried.

the caps can go bad sometimes as well, so if you find nothing wrong, it might just be the cap.

from what i understand, the brake light should only come on when the e-brake is engaged. besides the obvious diagnosis of the e-brake being engaged, probably want check out the rear brake system: pads, calipers, rotors
