Engine rebuild?

So you had the trans rebuilt and now you want to replace it with a used 6spd? And the engine runs? I understand the desire to build up a car, but these are mostly lateral moves. If the engine is not smoking or knocking now then it could run 100K+ before major problems. And if you just want a manual transmission car then why not sell yours and get one. Should be able to find a used manual Accord or whatever.

Because I want to keep my V6, I don't want to go down to a 4cylinder. At this point it dosent look like the swap is going to happen. But I am going to do:

Clean my EGR Valves
Replace timing belt
Have engine valves adjusted
Clean my throttle body
Clean my intake
Check PVC Valve
