Yes. An 01-02 lip is what you need. You can switch out the bumpers between the 98-00 and the 01-02 bumper, but the lip you got is just for the 98-00

Yeah i'm positive I have a 99 100% positive. Just ran my vin # to triple check myself.
Is this common to be changed?
And I shall be calling that company and i'll have them drop ship me a 01-02 coupe lip!

Yeah I guess thats what happened lol really threw me for a loop though!
Thanks for the help guys! I'll be getting the CORRECT lip for MY bumper tomorrow! Then my type 1s will be here thursday and throwing those on Sunday

If you were going by the lip in the first pic, that is a Mugen lip for a sedan, so right there is the start of the problem.
