"helix throttle body spacer" is to be avoided then? Where did you buy it from and how much? I tried looking at their website. I don't think I have the right site, cause it didn't list the spacer.

i have the obx tbs installed and i had the same problem when i first started it. i reset the ecu then started it up and let it run for like 20 min then went and mashed around the block. by the time i got back the idle was back to normal and has been cool ever since. and YES its got more torque now!
