i got new shifter and ebrake handle and i got the shifter on but dont know how to get the old ebrake handle off.can anyone help me on this one.

take out center console thingy
there are 2 circles tht hold the handle boot on
pull off

it didnt quite fit over the arm so i have to cut the track off the bottom
