I did that and I couldn't get it to fit, the brace has three holes and the strut top hat has two, I tried every combination and couldn't get it to go on....

Basically this... if it don't fit it's wrong part. All accords and tl have only 2 bolts on rear strut cap if your bar has 3 and don't fit it's wrong one.
