I have a new set of 17x9 wheels with +25 offset and I'm lowered 3 inches. I want to run the most stretch that I can without having any wheel gap and maintaining the best fitment I can. I've been debating between getting 205/40 or 215/40, however I'm still afraid I will have wheel gap. What tires should I run?

Either of those sizes will be fine. 215 will look beefier but have slightly better fitment. If it were me I'd choose 205/40 which is what I did choose

Wheel specs are almost the same and as far for being lowered I have no idea how low I am but I would say I'm not low enough. I want to be tucking tire. I need be about half an inch lower

yeah i see you have good quarter inch of wheel gap, and that's what i'm trying to avoid considering I'm currently maxed on my coilovers. I think I'm going to go with 205/45 just to avoid the problems with wheel gap. Yeah the stretch may not be as aggressive but I'd rather have a less aggressive stretch than wheel gap. thanks for the help.
