headlight issues

just replaced the headlight in my gf's accord sedan. i was fixing her ex's mistakes to her car. old headlight was ghetto up with tape and stuff to hold together. bought her a used oem one from ebay. issue is the left headlight is dimmer then the right. highbeams stay on and when u switch it off the left headlilght goes out but the right side is still on. i have no clue why. not sure if it has drl's. any help would be appriecieated. thanks.

sounds like you need a new headlight relay. check the junkyard for any used one.

yea this JUST happened to me right now...i havnt checked anything but i really hope its a fuse or sumthing....its so weird....high beams and right side are going on with low beam swtich.....and highbeam switch shuts off left side highbeam and increases voltage on rightside highbeam while rightside low beam is still on....and the highbeam dash light is super dim.....regardless if on or off....anybody fix this yet?
