Re: Engine puttering.... help plz

Hey guys
He's got a thread over on V6P and were trying to get him diagnosed too. Since he replaced his plugs and coil packs. We have eliminated that possible cause.

Since he also threw a code for the Secondary o2 sensor, I told him his next step should be to check out his converter. It might be clogged up causing excessive heat in the cylinders??

Re: Engine puttering.... help plz

Have you checked the EGR valve and the port on the intake manifold? At work we had a 01 accord j30 throwing random misfires and it was due to a bad egr valve and the port on the intake manifold was clogged with carbon.
