Wet carpet help plz!

I have a 98 v6 and my driver side carpet is getting soaked i dont know
how, is only in da middle though the sides are dry, has this ever happened to
one of u guys, i would appreciate it if u guys could help.

It comes with a broken back too.


I heard you can bypass the heater core, but Im not sure if that is less labor intensive. You do lose your heater tho.

On my avalon there is a valve that opens and closes the water from going into the heater core, its controled by an electronic modual. Well, when mine broke, I had to replace the electronic modual, but I was manually opening and closing the valve when I wanted heat or AC. You could try and find the valve, its somewhere in the engine bay on the firewall....atleast it was for my avalon.

Cheaper and easier to bypass it. Just wear a big coat.

are you serious my uncle's rover had that problem it kept getting every one leg and purse wet but i never tried to fix it rover said they would only charge 65 to fix that problem on a rover so it cant be that much on a honda
