Brake light problems!

my rear running lights are on but when i apply the brakes they dont get any brighter, 3rd brake light does not light up either, checked fuses, there all fine. please help :eusa_doh:

3rd brake light inside the cabin or on the spoiler?

inspect the wire harness those lights are inside, starting near where the trunk lid meets the body. definitely sounds like a short.

i dont know off hand where the power and grounds for that light go to, but my feeling is that they end up splicing into the trunk's harness on the driver's side somewhere.

time to chase some wire :coffee:
