Intermittent side indicators not blinking on lock/unlock

Hi. Bit of an odd one. When I remotely lock/unlock my car, the indicator lights don't blink on some occasions. They work for general use like hazard warnings and driving. Not a major problem, just annoying that I need to check that the door lock switch moved into the lock position.

So the turn signals and hazard lights work, and the parking lights work when they're switched on/driving...but the parking lights don't illuminate when you use the lock/unlock buttons on the remote? That is strange. Do you have an aftermarket alarm or anything?

My passenger door power door lock works intermittently. If I forget to lock the door and attempt a remote lock, I get no lights and no horn honk until the door is manually locked. Might be a short in the alarm system somewhere thinking the doors are unlocked?
