Hello all, my name is Matt. I'm 22 years old, live on the East side of Washington state. I'm currently going to school - majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
On to my rides. My first was a 1996 Civic hatchback. I got the car virtually stock from my dad and it took the brunt of my 16 year old abuse. After the car was stolen, I began a complete rebuild of the car. It made 448whp on the best tune, and I am now converting it to LS-VTEC. Here are some recent pics:
Side by side with my last 93 Accord:
A peak under the hood:
Out for a drive just as the snow hit:
Most recent under hood shot, converting to VTEC:
93 Accord I had before the maroon one:
And now the reason I am here. I recently got an 01 Accord V6 coupe in red. The car has 190k on it, and runs like a top. It is still on the original transmission, and I am the third owner. I did a couple little things to it and I must say I absolutely love this car.
How I received it, bone stock:
How she sits now:
List of things I've done:
-Ram air intake
-15% tint all around
-Blacked out OEM wheels
-Removed badges
-Installed my Kenwood deck
Future plans for the Accord:
-LED conversion in the interior (some bulbs are already out)
-Front brake upgrade
-Possibly lower the car, unsure because it is a DD.
Anyway, that's my novel. Looking forward to doing some reading on the site and finding some other little things I can do at a reasonable cost.
