HELP! Got free HIDs and have a question...

Hi, my friend just gave me a set of HIDs from MTEC. They are H1 8000k.
Since we use 9006, can I just like buy a new set of bulbs? How does it work? Can someone link me to a guide for a DYI? Any help would be great.

I don't even know if I have all the parts I needs...Here's a pic of it...Thanks!

from what i can see it looks like u have all of the parts u need u can switch out the bulbs also

These were given to me for free...Is 8000k bad? Also, can anybody give me some links of the kind or brand of bulbs I should get? Not looking to spend TOO much. Thanks guys.

Well, I wouldn't do much complaining if you got them for free....LOL
Just get some 9006 bulb, cut the connectors for the H1 bulbs (The part that connects to the ballasts) wire them to the 9006 bulbs and you're set.

get 6k MAX. also just get some 9006 bulbs and save yourself the effort of re-basing.
