Hey guys so im not really sure if im posting this in the right category because its not that urgent but still a problem. I have a 02 coupe 5 spd ex and it is a canadian care. About a week ago my windshield washer fluid symbol came on. So i filled it up but now the light wont turn off, could this mean a bad sensor? And help appreciated :)

I think I'd skip a DVOM for that :p

Most are more like a switch than a sensor.

Unplug it, does the light turn off?
-Yes. Switch is broken, replace it.
-No. Short the wires out (there are just 2, right?), does the light turn off?
--Yes. Switch is broken, replace it.
--No. You have a break or a short somewhere, more work req'd to fix it. I'd pull the light, you don't need that anyway :D

+1 What XCI said....

You can used a multimeter In continuity mode, but XCI's way is easier.

Also Try and see if its stuck, basically by a quick glance at the diagram ( and Alldata telling me there is continuity in the down position) its grounded causing the light to light up, so if its possible move the float up. If not change it.

Once again XCI has an easierrrrr way.
