Hi all, I'm also new to Hondas and folks there is some secret decoder ring stuff to get familiar with. There isn't AFAIK a handy x-ref chart.
As for searching, almost all these type forums have highly deficient search functions. Use google with the " site:http://www.6thgenaccord.com " tag for decent answers.

All engines the same, more power is more burning. Gas goes fine, if you have enough, and we have what it takes to find out. So air is the thing you gotta do.
IMO, homemade turbo. Make your own manifold for~$50 to bolt on whatever turbo you can get from a junkyard for $100, and cool it for $100, thenconnect it w/ pvc for $20.
And consider a 'cold air intake' stock.
