No, the 6GA auto shift lever requires a push button lock release, which this knob does not account for.

I know the push botton lock can be bypassed. dunno if the knob can physically fit or not

Not directly, this knob screws on and the 6GA knob is held with a screw. Might be able to modify the knob to mount to the stock lever though. That in addition to the bypass you mentioned might make it usable.
