So I decided I'd go and try doing a budget friendly DIY retro

Trying these projectors ($45)

Dremel'ed out the shroud for fitment

I'm curious to see the cut off lines on these...

And for the HID kit, why not go with a $30 eBay kit? Would save you more $$$ and they are decent as well. My fogs have been going for 3 years strong so far.

I tried to be reasonable and not just get the cheapest things I could
Wanted to essentially shoot for a cheaper alternative while still getting decent quality. I'll get the items Thursday and will update then

Not bad at all, looks like they need clear lens though and why not spend that money on DDM HIDs?

THose are the reject mini h1 made by The retrofit source. They are okay but most people say dont waist your money on them. Go do a retrofit with oem projectors and and bulbs and ballast and youll be much happier than you will ever be with these. If you do go with these buy them from TRS as these are their rejects. These will definetly need some major tuning for them to perform at their peak. THe ones from TRS are already tuned.
