so i was wondering if i was to get a 3inch intake filter, would it fit on the end of the stock tubing?

Just take the resonator box out and leave the bottom of the airbox open
or just get a cheap one off ebay and put a good air filter on it

i havent tried this, but i was considering this for a bit. imo i dont think it will work, the cone filter will be round, and the stock plastic piping is more oval. theres a thread on here to convert your stock airbox into a CAI, search DIY CAI. very descriptive

In that case... Sorry! I shouldve asked first. I have a six, and the tubing connecting to my air box is more along the oval shape. Try fastflyinaccord's suggestion though, as long as it's a tight fit your good!
