Update : started phase 1 of the interior blackout. Going to be hitting EVERYTHING inside the car with matte black this Thursday. The paint I used sucked so I won't mention it. I'll get some vinyl and fabric paint and post up the brand etc.

Update: interior painting failed so junkyard it was. Going back next week for the rest of the coupe pieces. Sticker bombed dash board (all individual stickers), added new panels all around and reinstalled old oem center console lid.

I tried paint once but it didn't stick very long so I bought a rusted out accord for 800 and swapped everything. The dashboard was a pain to get out and I chased squeaks for what seemed like a year
the doner car threw a rod as I pulled out of the parking lot where we met. I still don't know why.

Man that sucks, you can't even say it's a reliability issue, I'd say previous owner neglect/shady mechanic work. The dashboard was gross after I painted it and I was too lazy to take it out and I'm too impatient so everything has to be done NOW. I figured since I was good at sticker bombing I might as well just go with that lol. I chased a knock for a long time and it turns out it was just a loose sway bar link. Chasing stuff sucks

Update: picked up a v6 coupe wheel at the junkyard, came off quite easy, as well as my original. No puller required. I do suggest putting the bolt back in a few threads just so you don't hurt yourself. I do have to say the new coupe wheel feels way better than the oem sedan wheel. The stitching feels great and the wheel feels meatier and more solid. Definitely keeping it in.

Also picked up a black cup holder lid, steering column trim and a glove box face from the donor car. Finally, I replaced the rear door bulbs as I changed the front ones some time ago but never got around to changing the gross old ones [emoji40]

Update: added a light to the center console, still a wip but works perfect . Only comes on when the car is running/accessory mode, and only when the center console arm rest is fully open. I wish I could upload a video of it working but unfortunately I can't on the forum. Anyways if I get enough interest I can do a write up. Decided to use the trunk light box since I never use it, I'll be wiring up a smaller one soon but this will do for now .

Update: Cleaned up the wiring and downsized, eventually I'll make a compartment within the console for the fixture to make it look more oem, I will find something to fasten it for now without drilling any holes or gluing it.

Update: changed the main bulbs In the gauge cluster as well as the oil pressure gauge. It looks beautiful now. Very crisp, vivid and bright. The temperature bulb needs to be changed so you can tell the difference between the fuel gauge and temp gauge.

Selene could use new bulbs in the cluster, but I'm afraid to remove it :ugh:
