A little history on the car:

- Purchased new in 1998
- From 99-01 it looked almost identical to the way it is in the photos minus the side skirts and rear lip. It had all four mud guards in place. The wheels and tires were slightly narrower in spec as well.
- From 01-03 we added the side skirts.
- In 03 the first set of C5's were stolen so we purchased 02 TL Type S wheels and left the car as is till around 2014 when we added the rear lip
- Found a set of C5's last year (2017) and finally mounted them on 02/27/18 (really adding these dates for my own reference)

01-03 no pics of this setup - same as above but with optional side skirts

03-14 I'm going to have to search for these pics...so a big :upyours: photobucket!!!

Clean & simple. Tires look a little wide but does add some meat to the stance.

Maybe you bought the C5's from the person that stole them...haha.

Saw your post on the Facebook group too, very clean ride

Thanks...been a while since I've messed with the Accord. It's already starting to get addicting and fun again!!!

Thanks as well. Went with wider tires on purpose just for that reason.

That would be comical...haha. These are .5" wider but if they were an exact match, I would have been asking the seller more questions.:ehcapt:

Went for a cruise with fam and friends last weekend. Got to see my old CRX and S2k on the road again (both owned by my brother in laws now and are hardly driven).

The Accord being the heaviest and the only auto in the group did quite well through the twisties. It got me thinking about looking for a donor CL Type S to swap the drive train from. Then upgrade brakes, sway bars, lighter set of wheels with sticky tires and so on to make these "spirited" Sunday drives a lot more fun. Heck I'd take the thing out to the race track at that point.

Here are some pics from our cruise:

The 3G TL 6MT 20mm rear sway is a great bank for your buck upgrade. Or the Progress bar if you can find one, makes a massive difference. CL/TL front strut tower bar is a nice addition too. Nice pics.
