The Kenwood is fine. If you have the money and know that you want something bigger or better then stick with the Kenwood.

The Pioneer can only be used for the subs.

The Pioneer amp is 1ohm stable, so you can easily wire the sub to 1ohm (parallel) and have more than enough power. And with that much power a simple sealed enclosure will do the job. So when you order the amp you can order this with it, http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item...d-MDF-Subwoofer-Enclosure-Belva-MDFS1215.html

BUT, with 800 watt amp and your Kenwood 150 watts or so you should have 4ga power wire from the battery. So check to see for sure, you might want to order a wiring kit at the same time.

You really need to read up on what you are doing and why it matters (unless you are having someone install it): http://www.caraudiohelp.com/car_audio_electrical_basics/car_audio_electrical_basics.htm

for that fosgate sub its 2ohms and 600 rms but the amp only pushes 500 watts a 2 ohms. would it still handle ok?

It won't be it's full potential but it would definitely get the job done. So it's a good choice.

You could technically use 8ga and, probably, be okay. I would however also recommend 4ga. 8ga for the speaker amp is sufficient.
