If there is AC voltage out of the amp where the sub is supposed to be hooked up while music is playing, the amp is good.

Turns out bad amp lol it's getting like little to no volts compared to my amp for my speakers. Any recommendations for a new amp?

I was looking at this amp http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_89526_SoundStorm-SSL-EVO1500.1.html

Also this is my sub http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_69889_Pioneer-TS-W309D2.html

I kind of want to upgrade the sub lol what do you think of this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_81776_Audiopipe-TXX-BD1-12.html

I don't know if you have heard of the kicker hideaway? It a little beast for how small it is!

Don't forget, there won't be voltage to the sub unless you are playing a track with bass so even then, you will only see voltage when the bass hits. You might download an oscilloscope app and play a straight 50Hz tone to test it. I could even send you one.

Are the lights on the amplifier on? Check all the stupid little things first! Your grounds, that you have power, that the remote wire is actually getting 12V. Check the fuses in the amplifier.
