haha nah, i ordered the 70-200 f/4 non IS. I couldnt justify spending a grand for a lens. fcukin polarizer was 100 bucks. Yea, i was talkin about the ring mount. Its like $150 everywhere. Cheapest i found was ebay for $103. Can I use a generic ring you think?

whoa, haha lol i was gonna say... (talking about 600mm lens) lol
yeah generic one is fine... there are like 6 types of different lens rings
since its soo expensive, that's why i haven't bought one yet, but i'll need it
cuz i tried using tripod and it just won't hold if you mount to the camera base
i just bents down lol though i have a cheap tripod...

no worries man, shooting at F10 and 1/200 shutter. you can definitely hand-hold that shot.
