Maybe you have another problem, Im on koni yellows with Ksports which are lower than the Teins. I dont get any knocking. Might want to double check everything and make sure u know whats making the noise.

control arm hitting wheel well? you mean control arm hitting shock tower? that's what happens when you lower you car 2-3 inches with shytty roads where you live. Enjoy the life of being lowered while you can.

Jason (Accord2UN something something) had a hole cut out where it was hitting. I've been considering it but its sort of an irreversible process.

thats not the same problem the op is having. if you have a noise in the rear that sounds like the front upper control arms hitting the strut towers, then you should get that checked out asap, since theres nothing back there to come in contact with the body of the car like that.

as for the op, stop hitting those damn huge bumps. theres no reason you should have this problem with those tiny drop tein springs, unless your suspensions alllllllll ****ed up on the side its happening on. this usually happens frequently when people lower these cars a lot, like 2.5"+ lower id say. mine dont even hit that much and im pretty low, theres only a two finger gap between the my uca and the strut tower when the cars on the ground.

theres really nothing that can be done to fix it other than raising your car or cutting a hole in the top of the front strut towers. or custom made knuckles that are shorter height wise, but good luck on that haha.

what is happening there is the control arm has no room to extend out so therefore it is topping out on the shock tower. believe me im been slammed/dumped/lower or whatever you wanna call it for 5 yrs. and im haveing the same problem and im on type 2s you have to cut out the shock tower an extend it up a few inches or keep it open heres some pics of my boys that already have done it.
