I was wondering if anyone has tried to put the factory remote start off a new accord on a 6th gen. I got the stuff off a new car but I don't know anything about remote start I just thought it would be cool if there was a way to make it work.

If you have the wiring for it, then of course it's possible. You'll definitely need an immobilizer bypass, but if you can find the wiring guide, all you really need to do is tap into your ignition and whatnot.

For an imobi bypass get a copy of the key made, cut the head off, and tape it inside the column cover.

I don't think that's how it works .. you'd have to get the key chipped by the dealership and I think it's inside the little black part.

Oh, if that's the case then you wouldn't need to get a copy of the key made :p You would just need the dealership to program a chip for you.

Chip comes with the key. They don't need to 'cut' the key, just program it.
