Hey guys,

First post here :) just bought 400$ of front end steering parts and after verifying my parts I noticed that one of the tie rods I bought doesn't have the boot attached to it. my question is; is it normal? Does it place itself as torquing the castle nut? Or should I go get it replaced cause it's not normal? There doesn't seem to be any damage to the rod itself which is why I'm confused.

Thanks in advance,
TJ

i would just get a new tie rod, they need boots to keep the grease inside and to keep everything moving nicely with out friction.

some are sealed, some aren't. Just matters that there is one...

The unsealed type fit around the bottom of the tie rod/arm/thing. Like a hat.
