Seems correct, nothing too crazy. I'm running 225/45/17 on my xxr 527's 8.25 and it's giving me a little stretch

That's the same setup I'm trying to do . How do yu like it ?? Did yu have to do fenderr work or any otherr type of modification ??

It's pretty straight forward. I've ran this set up for about 8 months.. I rolled my fenders and only rub on hard dips on the rear (fronts are fine). Planning on cutting and re rolling my fenders for a better fitment for my new set up.

Well first off 215 is about 8.5 inches wide
Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but wouldnt 215 be smaller than 8? Considering TL wheels are 8" wide, and come with 245's, and the 215's would give you more stretch, hence the tread width being smaller?

Quick question:

I found a set of BBS LM's in 18x8.5 +35 for the fronts and 18x9.5 +35 for the rears. Is anybody running 18x9.5 +35 in the rear on their 6th gen? Also what tire size is appropriate for that size of wheel? I don't want the wheel to be protruding outside the rear quarter. I also don't want to run hella flush because I believe Function>Form.

thinking I would want a tiny bit of stretch...yet again if the stock TL wheels I have now are 245, then 225 would be plenty.

Probably ordering a set of Kumho Ecsta 4x's tomorrow.

You're going to be "hellaflush" running those wheels. Those are my exact specs and I have 225/40 in the rear. They're pretty much flush with the fender and I have -3 degrees worth of camber. If you don't get them, I will so pass on the deal !! Haha

225/40/17 on TL wheels? What is the offset of the 04-08 TL wheels anyways (just out of curiousity)?

+45. And you need to run at least a 45 sidewall on 17's.

Stock tire size on TL base wheels was 235/45 btw.
