Brand & model: Taspro Hybrid Intake
Price paid and from where: $80, Tasauto
Pros: Gives a nice sound like a SRI when you punch it a bit but when you drive parking lot speeds, it stays quiet. Also gives pretty good power throughout the powerband. I like it a lot because it utilizes the stock air box so it doesn't get heatsoaked like a SRI and the air is focused from the hole from the fender liner so it's like a CAI but it cannot get hydrolocked. It also comes with a K&N drop in filter :).
Cons: Took them forever to ship because I got it when it first came out.
Final verdict: Totally worth the money and cheap. Just be sure to chop the bottom stock air box to utilize the full potential of the intake and make sure your fender liner is installed so that the filter doesn't get dirty.

K&N drop-in filter, hacksawed the bottom off the box, got rid of the huge goiter-thing down below and made a connector from the box to underside of the front end using tape (soon to be fiberglass). Kind of a cold air intake, I guess. Price, not including filter, is about 20 cents for the tape, I guess. Pros...cheap and sounds good, also gives top-end gains, still looks stock (pro or con?)

Brand & model: AEM Short Ram Intake
Price paid and from where: $145 from ebay + $25 shipping to Canada
Pros: Sounds so aggressive and throaty when i step on the gas. Nice whistling sound when i turn off the engine.
Cons: None that i can think of.
Final verdict: Couldn't be happier. If you are looking for an intake, AEM SRI is the way to go!

Brand & model: Injen Cold Air Intake
Price paid and from where: 240 something on Ebay!
Pros: the best damn sound you'll ever hear from a cai
Cons: only con is it doesn't sound like that all the time and doesn't sound like that coming out my tail pipe.
Final verdict: definitely a great buy...the mount didn't exactly fit but if you see the pic on my page...you'll see what i did. looks ugly but it works like that wasn't even there.:boohoo:

Brand & model: Ebay SRI
Price paid and from where: seller= BestCarPart $39
Pros: fairly queit at idle for SRI, sounds deep at 4000 RPM+
Cons: required some customization for prossional install, since supplied brackets were a joke
Final verdict: Was pleased with final outcome, just took extra time to cut intake pipe using 14" metal chop saw for perfect fitment, had to thoroughly debur all matal shavings, and do a nice cleaning removing all lose shavings inside intake pipe

Brand & model: INJEN SRI
Price paid and from where: Cant remember. Either here or local. Less than $100.
Pros: Had mounting tab. Decent sound. Sized to fit aftermarket filters.
Cons: Not as loud/throaty as AEM SRI I have. It's red, lol.
Final verdict: Not as "cool" as my AEM but it has the mounting bracket and takes well to aftermarket filters, so im rocking it instead, but it's just as cool as the AEM.

Brand & model: AEM CAI/SRI
Price paid and from where: Got it here for like $75.
Pros: "illest" decal. Has CAI option. Universal color(Silver). Very loud at WOT and when V-TECH kix in y0!
Cons: San mounting bracket and i could only fit the AEM filter on it.
Final verdict: If it had the mounting bracket and took better to aftermarket filters(I may pick up a new AEM anyway), Id be rocking it, but it doesnt, so im not. All-in-all, I like it better than the INJEN.

Brand & model: AEM cai
Price paid and from where: $50 used.
Pros: Made my car sound cool when I had it?
Cons: That was a waste of $50, then again, I didn't expect much but a roar in higher rpms.
Final verdict: I wouldn't buy it again. Maybe an AEM v2.
