Ok so I need some help. When I very first start my car in the mornings or when I get out of school and start to drive, my car makes a squealing sounds as if the brakes were bad, but it's not when I press the brakes. It's just whenever the car moves it squeals. This happens for maybe 3 minutes of driving but then it goes away for the remainder of the time I'm driving.
Any ideas on what this could be?
Thanks!

Check for scarring on the rotors, if they've been squealing for a good amount of time they will have scarring. Anyway, just check the pads like said.

My guess is the serpentine belt. Maybe it's got cracks and when it warms up the rubber softens and the sound goes away. you can easily see the belt and check for cracks and such

BTW on the v6 (2000) not sure about 01 but maybe so but there is a belt indicator that is on the tensioner. If the lines line up, your belt is really worn. kinda hard to explain w/o pics, but let me know and i can take pics.
