I own a 2002 accord 4cl and it has slight oil burn problem from expressive blowby last year I installed a oil catch can in the pcv system and usually it catches a decent amount of oil from the pcv system. Recently I have noticed that the pcv valve cloggs up with oil at 1-2 week intervals causing more oil to be burned. I have to weekly clean the pcv valve and the amount of oil being burnt drops significantly. I was thinking about bypassing the pcv valve and placing a 3/8" elbow fitting instead, hopefully this will never clog up. What do you guy think?

I have already replaced the pcv valve with a new honda one last year, along with the rubber gromnt on the valve cover were the pcv fits into. My current catch can set-up goes from stock pcv valve to catch than to intake.

Direct to catch can, vent to air if preferably, try to put it at front so your heater blower don´t suck the fumes into the car...or you make it vent under the car!

No more PCV, no more air contamination of the intake with oil vapours!
