Need help "under the hood"

i need help making this area of my car cleaner, any tips or advice or suggestion that you guys can give me would be great, i just dont know where to start, i know i can paint the engine valve cover and it would make a difference but thats about the only thing i know, im new to this whole "jdm" thing so please be as specific as possible. thanks !

What does “jdm” have to do with the engine bay.

Anyway, yes paint/powdercoat the VC. You can also paint or polish the heat shield and ABS module cover, swap hoses for colored ones, perform a wire tuck, swap oil/brake/radiator caps, etc...there is a lot you can do. I’d start with a throrough engine bay cleaning, there’s a DIY for it.

I'm not sure what jdm has to do with anything since our cars weren't even available in japan...

But as for cleaning it up you can start by like you said painting the valve cover
Remove washer fluid
Relocate battery
Remove cruise control
Start hiding wires
New header

Look above. Also, if you're careful, you can purple power the whole thing then wash with a hose.

de-grease it, paint the valve cover some crazy color, paint corroded bits silver or black, wipe done all hoses, bottles, and harnesses, then armor all anything black, id call it a day at that.

few ideas...

1. Swap it - F20b ftw. (if u cant afford paint VC +1)
2. Battery Relocation to Trunk/remove crappy ugly tray
3. Relocate engine bay fuse box/Wire tuck the bay
4. Paint the bay
5. Remove cruise
6. Remove A/C and condenser
7. Remove P/S
8. Tag/Graffiti underside of hood
9. Colored Spark plug Wires/dist cap
10. Aluminum catch can/overflow reservoir
11. Cold Air Intake -Seriously.
12. Aftermarket oil dipstick
13. Neuspeed Solid Strut Tower Bar (any bar with bolt joints=useless hood prop)
14. SS header (dc sports ect.)
15. Colored Bolt Dress up kits
16. Brush paint alternator to match vc - carefully
17. Aftermarket Rad Cap
18. Brake/clutch/ps reservoir sleeves (password jdm ect.)
19. Aluminum Radiator
20. Paint those wiper arms!!!!!!

Hey man no problem....love to see/help fellow accord owners individualize their cars.

I got some family down in Miami (kendall-lil havana) im down there bout 3-5times a yr. Im going back down in Late Sept. love it down there.
