^Thanks for digging down your old post, Chris. The D3 method is something I also do from time to time; Thanks for mentioning.

...When putting the car in Drive from Park, I never touch the accelerator until I know the car is in 1st, and I always make sure the car is at a complete stop before moving the gear lever, like when going from Drive to Neutral to Reverse.

Oh, no... I'd have that fixed, asap b/c e-brake is crucial to 6gen AT. (especially, when you have a brand new tranny.)

The best thing you can do with your AT is throw it away. I don't miss mine at all.

Buy an '02? I don't remember where exactly but I remember a big notion about how the AT was only bad 98-01.

I'm @ 125k on my '02 V6. Still shifting like butter.

I'm at about 182,000. Mine is still the original, never rebuilt. But I doubt it will last another year or so, so I'm saving for a CL-S swap now
