Rebuilt by the local ignition shop. Overdrive pulley for lower turn on/max output speed. New BEarings, regulator, basically everything but the case. Wound and load tested to 148 Amps.

big boy parts in here, I know some of you audio guys would love to have this in your 6GA.

yeah, like the motor? damned thing is gigantic, I bet it weighs 25Lbs.

I got to go and pick up my new batteries tonight, so hopefully come tomorrow I'll have some video of it running. I got new fuel filters and the 5 gallons of oil and filter to do the oil change. SO the engine compartment will be buttonsed up. After that it's the fluid in the trans. Not sure if I'm going to do the rear axle, still waiting on my new third member, but it was in Tuscaloosa, so I may not have that anytime soon or my spare tire.
