Word on the street for SoCal people is that there's a dude in the IE that charges to do these but apparently does good work...

Fairly affordable rates from what I hear as well.

SERIOUSLY think both of these are fantastic and I may have to consider it as well.

Jake's is awesome, just haven't seen a finished pic of his as yet.

Found out the fabricator and he does good work!

That was a customer's car where the ball joint on his control arms hit, but I'm sure he could do other shapes.

^Looks like he was a former BMX'er/Skateborder judging from the design.

:lawl:

Pretty flawless work with the seams though.

Yeah, I don't think his customer had issues with the rest of the arm hitting anything, just the ball joint. Pretty sure he could easily do other shapes though.

oh and lets add this pic in there for refrence too.

keep in mind everyone... moneypit has custom control arms which allow him to have a tower the shape he has. the oem control arms and nearly all control arms made for our cars, impact in multiple points. the ball joint areas is the easier of the 2 to fix as you've seen in the previous pics... if you look at this pic below, you'll see he had to have an area in front of the main tower also notched to make space in the 2nd (more difficult) impact zone.

I've heard that his work is pretty affordable, but I don't know exactly how much. It's a fabricator out in Upland.

I sent him a message on Facebook today and he wanted me to come in for the most accurate quote.
