I have asked about this b4 but have narrowed the problem down a bit more.

Is it normal that when you wiggle or shake the RCAS at the connection on a 4 channel amp for the speakers to make cracklilng and popping sounds.

Probably not but that is my prob... Whenever I go over bumps in road and the RCAs shake the speakers make cracks and pops. Any ideas to what could be causing this? They are Twisted RCAs.

Thanks

hmm...ok thanks for that suggestion...

Will it be expensive to fix the inputs if that is the problem?

Thanks again

depends on the company if you send it back to the manufacturer, or whatever local shop you go to.

what kind of amp is it? might be cheaper to try and pick up a used one somewhere.

The amp is an old but high quality Soundstream Rubicon 404.

I do not have the receipt. So like you said getting another amp might be the best route?

Could be the RCA's that are just lose and not the input on the amp. Unless you can physically see the jacks move?
