18-55mm kit lens. I'm too cheap to buy a real one lol.

if i had one improvement suggestion...the flash looks harsh and casts a pretty hard shadow. if you buy/make a diffuser, the light will be a lot softer. sites like www.diyphotography.net and www.strobist.blogspot.com have lots of free/cheap solutions for that 
maybe try a b&w conversion with cs3...it might cut down on the flash's effect...
