Buyams, Check Out This Costumer Service...UPDATE

Ok guys here I go, couple weeks ago I got a Sparco Torino, good deal for the seat, very happy with it. I search some places for the rail/slider and the brackets...Finally, last week I found this guy on hondamarketplace.com that was selling some sparco rails/slider. I contacted him and his company (www.buyams.com) so I could get to know more about the product. At the beginning he was kind of nasty, a mixture of over the top jdmness with some sarcastic type of conversation. I decided to ask for the price of the seat rails and he told me 70 bucks + shipping, I told "how come sparcousa.com shows 59.00" , his answer was..."Ok 60 bucks shipped" so I asked him " can I pick it up" only to get the most nasty response ever...." 60 picked, cause is the same thing, I gotta go..bye"....I paypal this dude $61.80 with the 3% included, received the rail, open the package and voila!!! no sparco logos or seals whatsoever...I didn't really care about because the bracket was being made by Wedge Engineering (big props to these guys)....Long story short, today I was installing the seat but to my surprise this guy sent me the wrong the rail, a tabbed (for height adjustment) instead of just the "UNIVERSAL FLAT BASE RAILS"...here's the actual response from this wonderful seller:

imo, if you're taking customer service with AIM, make a separate SN for customer service purpose only.....

if you're online with your customer service SN, it is only obvious that you will receive IM's regarding service.......you were the one who came online with that SN.....and tell customers to get lost? thats just wrong and i see no reason to buy anything from this company and expect descent customer service....

haha...wit a aim sn like BUY AMS...its so funny how he says to only ask questions between 9-5...sorry guys...im only BUY AMS between 9-5...all other hours im that jackass whose @ss u wanna kick...all he couldve said was " you kno wat i can give u more information tomorrow...jus give me a call between 9-5 and we'll get this straightened out" ...tell that jerk off get his BF schlong out of his butt while he's on aim....Thumbsup down for AMS

thats stupid...he didn't seem to have a problem making sales after hours....but returns...he gets pissed...customer service is everything...

i've also bought from wedge engineering....they are pretty cool...i would def recommend them

customer service is a huge + for me when deciding on where to buy from.
for example, street styler dicked me so much on my mugen front lip.
race inspired was amazing with my apex ws2 catback. so i shop raceinspired all the time now.
good choice on not shopping with that douche again.

Ok guys here's the rest of the story....

I called BUYAMS around 9:30am, their customer service is really poor, with no courtesy at all. This guy literally yell at me arguing that sparco only makes tabbed rails. "Sparco doesn't make flat rails anymore, the flat rails are old"...I replied "But men, I called sparco and they make flat and tabbed!, if they are old how come they still make em?!"...so after going back and forward with the conversation he told me that I could get store credit...so I decided to ask him about what kind of products he had online, "Check our website" www.buyams.com....he started to tell me about the website trying to move the attention away from the return issue.....Long story short, he complained about having the rails for 7 days....I received the order on March 12th 2008, and he told about this hillarious return policy:
The package has to be sealed, original box, all the receipts, ups papers....basically you need x-rays so you can check if the part will fit or not

I purchased something but my car was stolen, can I get a refund?

In conclusion....don't buy anything from these guys (www.buyams.com) unless you triple check everything before you buy and be able to deal with this "genius" customer service..

+1, and then I'd call my bank, tell them to refuse the charges, and mail them back their product and tell them they can try and sue you for the selling price if they want to
