okay here is the DEAL

when it becomes night time (COLDER AIR) my motor will throw me a slight PING here and there,

during the day, NO PING what so ever! i'm getten so tired of trying to fig out what the problem is. anyway maybe it's my intake?


anyone know what might the problem be? :confused:

does it actually sound like it goes "ping"? about where in the engine bay does the noise come from? when does it usually happen when youre driving? does it happen when you rev when youre parked?

when reving in park NOTHING, only in Drive when i'm pushing the motor, yes it's coming from the motor.

If you using a light viscosity oil, like 5w-30, it might be time to switch to a heavier weight oil or maybe get the oil changed. My motor was ticking real bad, and when I switched to 10W-40, it quit. Just my .02.:D
