I have 18's on my car and the ride isnt hard at all. Your supsension is going to be what is hard. Make sure you dont get no name tires and knockoff struts and you ride will not change that much. Anytime you go up in rim size the ride will always change. I personally think that 18's are the best size rims for accord cuz the look clean. Just stick with a good suspension and you'll be fine

i have a different view. 19's fill up the wheelwells good. but i'd rather have 18's just so i can go a lil bit lower.

I have H&R Sport springs on factory struts. its a good ride as it is right now, I want to get 17's but there is a really good deal on a set of used 18's with tires. there off a V6 accord coupe, the tire size is 225-40-18 the rims are Team Dynamic Motorsports. I really can't see a huge difference between 17's and 18's if the tire i get for 17's is going to be a 45 series and the 18's a 40 series. Anymore insight would be great, thanks for the help guys.

i have 18's. there is a huge difference because less rubber = more vibration. if you get good tires, youll be fine. i run 225/40/18 tires and its not bad, but ive ridden in a car with 35 tires and it shakes liek **** and is uncomfortable. so yea, 18's FTW but get 225/40/18 tires or whaatever your tire measurement is, just keep it 40.

the tire size is 225-40-18. im replacing my stocks 205-65-15, so its a proper match up.

yea, i think youll be good with 18's. and i thi9nk they look better anyway. you will definately notice vibration, but get good tires, and youll be fine. just for peace of mind, heres my car with 18's and 225/40/18 tires:
