well, i checked my battery today and here's wat i have: 12.3 volts, 0.01 amps... the guy said to recharge the battery again and retest, but i didn't have the time... watcha think? need a new battery?

As long as your car will start easily, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are having starting problems, it might be time to recharge or upgrade to an Optima.

start up is ok.... if i leave it for a few days, it would be more difficult.. i've had this battery since i bought the car.. never replaced it since 1999

I'd say it's on it's way just not there yet. It cant hurt to go ahead, if you have the cash, to replace it.

Optima for the win if you have the cash. Personally I would just recharge the battery and keep it for a lil while longer. Unless you start having problems than I wouldnt change it.
