I'm only 19... and I don't have rich parents, so no L glass for me.

Saw a helluva deal on a used Tamron 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 Di LD XR VC MSRP $600, used: $149 w/ Hoya HMC UV filter... so I bought it.

Definitely a step up from the ****ty 18-55mm kit lens I've been using...

And just bought a B+W Kaesemann MRC Circular Polarizer filter for 53% off the MSRP of $244.

All in all a pretty sweet buy. Pics up when I can.

Also, I'm on the lookout for a Canon 50mm f/1.8L, so if you see one cheap let me know!

Yeah, but they are damn expensive. I've been scouring craigslist's photo section and no luck... just people getting rid of junk or their Nikon stuff which doesn't really help me.

If you open a account on live.com and search bluray or ipod...a link will come up that goes to ebay.

Theres a special promotion for items when you pay with paypal. 30% of your order when you use the "buy it now" feature. Theres some limitations such as no ebay motors and you have to wait a month before you get that money back. But theres a icon that shows up saying that it qualifies for the 30% off. just fyi.
