This DIY is for painted alloy wheels. I am not responsible if you screw up.
Materials:
Painters Tape
Bondo Body Filler
Duplicolor Wheel Paint
Duplicolor Wheel Clear
Filler Primer
Sandpaper 220 + 400

Ouch

#1 Clean the wheel with paint thinner to remove any chemicals.
#2 Sand the scratched area with 220 sandpaper.
#3 Clean the area again and tape the wheel off.
#4 apply the bondo follow the mixing instructions and drying.

#5 Sand down the surface of the wheel with 220. Make the bondo flush with the wheel. Use a wooden block if you need to sand a flat area. Then with 400 to make it smooth.

#6 Spray the filler primer on the wheel follow the instructions on the can.

this is a very long process because of the drying time involved with the bondo and paint. plus i did each wheel at a time all four wheels. for small chips i suggest you dont even spray the whole wheel. you can get away with spraying the damaged area. i just saved myself a lot of money for new oem wheels. the knock offs are like 210 a piece so i dont want to know how much the real ones are.

that duplicolor wheel paint is great. got a chance to use it a few years ago, and might do it to my extremely curbed stockers. how does the paint look on the bondo parts? does it show through in any way? i was kinda curious about bondo on alloys...

Old thread but i'd be a bit hesitant to put filler on a wheel. As for vtec accord99, what ever paint will say, or give you an idea. If you don't wetsand between coats, it goes fast. About 3 hours total, including drying time, except for the last coat, wait atleast overnight to mount.
