hello...

this is my first post, im not sure if this is the right forum, please be gentle.

i have a 99accord a/t v6, i was racing w/ a friend of mine at a empty area earlier, we started off from a stop, when i hit the gas pedal, my rare tires(i think) spinned for 1 or 2 sec. is this normal? or do i need new tires? i have GoodYears, and they are vary new, only 2 months old.

everything is stock at the moment.

tht's called a peel out :) and tht happened cos of torque going thru the wheels when u punched the gas... if it happens everytime, including normal driving, u might wanna check on ur tires.... may need new ones

That's normal. The torque is high enough to break the tires lose during a launch.

Hmmm, torque
That's something I wish the 4cyl had.
Well, at least I have a manual
