Used a remote. Total exposure was just over 4 hours long. Point your camera at the north star with a tripod + remote. leave the shutter open even for a couple of minutes and you will catch the earth's rotation in the stars. You also need a COMPLETELY dark area.how'd u do that? i wana knowww
makes me finally want to buy a remote
Thank you very much.those pictures are beautiful darryl
btw, just shipped it out.Exacly why I bought shaved's remote he was selling
Depends, I used a Phottix Cleon C8 on my 40d which is an amazing remote. it's wired/wireless and works up to like 100 meters, plus had a shutter lock which made this exposure possible. When I bought the remote it was nearly $50 shipped new. They are down into the $35-$40 range now.shame a plane didn't fly by in it.....would screw up all the lines haha
i need a remote also..how much do they cost?
Used my Sigma 10-22 UAW @ 10mm, ISO 100. I don't have any EXIF I forgot to save the RAW from this one which kind of pisses me off. This photograph had so much potential for post processing etc..nice shot darryl. Did u use your 28-135?
also can u give us the exif data please?
