Well I just thought it might be a nice post to have all the engine specs for our accords in one place, so here we go:

SOHC 4cyl
F23A1
This engine was used in the 1998-2002 Honda Accord EX and LX, and Acura 2.3CL in North America. The F23A4 is substantially similar, but features ULEV certification.

Specifications

Bore × Stroke: 86.0 × 97.0 mm
Displacement: 2254 cc
Valve Configuration: SOHC, 16 valves, VTEC
Compression ratio: 9.3:1
Max power: 150 hp (112 kW) @ 5500 rpm
Max torque: 152 ft·lbf (205 Nm) @ 4500 rpm

F23A5
This engine was used in the 1998-2002 Honda Accord DX in North America.

Specifications

Bore × Stroke: 86.0 × 97.0 mm
Displacement: 2254 cc
Valve Configuration: SOHC, 16 valves
Compression ratio: 8.8:1
Max power: 135 hp (100 kW) @ 5500 rpm
Max torque: 153 ft·lbf (206 Nm) @ 4500 rpm

DOHC 4cyl Yes there was a DOHC made for our accords

F20B
This engine was used in the 1998-2002 Honda Accord SiR in Japan. It uses a DOHC VTEC cylinder head similar to the H22A found in the Prelude and Accord Euro-R of the same era.

Specifications

Bore × Stroke: 85.0 × 88.0 mm
Displacement: 1997 cc
Valve Configuration: DOHC, 16 valves, VTEC
Compression ratio: 11.0:1
Max power: 180-200 hp (134-149 kW) @ 7000 rpm
Max torque: 141-144 ft·lbf (189 Nm) @ 5500 rpm

H22A
The H22A debuted in 1993 for use in the Honda Prelude VTEC as the H22A1. Versions of the H22A would be the Prelude's signature high-performance engine worldwide until the end of Prelude production in 2001. It was also used in the 1994–1997 Honda Accord SiR and 1998–2002 Honda Accord Euro-R in Japan (however different cams and lightweight crank were used in the Euro R H22A).

Specifications

Bore × Stroke: 87.0 × 90.70 mm
Displacement: 2157 cc (132 cu. in.)
Valve Configuration: DOHC, 16 valves, VTEC
Type: In-line 4 cylinder, aluminum block and head
Compression ratio: 10.0:1 (North America); 10.6–11.0:1 (Japan)
Max power: 190–220 hp (142–164 kW)
Max torque: 156–163 ft·lbf (207–217 Nm)
Redline: 7500 rpm
Engine Control System: Honda Systems PGM-FI with port fuel injection
Valve Gear: Belt-driven dual overhead cams, 4 valves per cylinder, variable timing and lift

SOHC 6cyl
J30 Series
The J30 displaces 3.0 L and is an SOHC VTEC design. Output for the J30A1 was 200 hp (149 kW) and 195 ft·lbf (264 N·m) of torque. The J30A4 pushed output to 240 hp (179 kW) and 212 ft·lbf (287 N·m) using a three-way VTEC system, higher (10:1) compression ratio, and a novel exhaust manifold cast as one piece with the cylinder head. This version was on the Ward's 10 Best Engines list for 2003 and 2004. The IMA hybrid version was on the list for 2005. In 2006 to mark the 30th anniversary of the Accord, Honda created the J30A5, which boosted output to 244 hp (SAE Net 08/04) and 211 ft·lbf (SAE Net 08/04) of torque. According to Honda, horsepower gains were achieved with extensive improvements to the airflow of the intake and exhaust systems.

J30A1
1997-1999 Acura 3.0CL
1998-2002 Honda Accord V6
J30A4
2003-2005 Honda Accord V6
J30A5
2006 Honda Accord V6

Forgot a few...F23A4 and H22 if you wanna do the JDM thing too.

The F23a1 and a4 have the same specs. But I added the H22, forgot it was in the Euro models. I always think prelude when H22 is mentioned. Anyways its added.

also forgot the j32 and j35. didnt come in accords, but can be swapped in, like h22's.

This isn't a swap info page, this is for STOCK engine info, so I only listed engines that actually came in our 6th gen(98-02) accords. The list of possible engines that would fit in our accords would be huge, but would make for a great post.
