Ok, figured i'd share the fruits of my labor 
. I don't know if this has come up before but abs cement works so well. At first i was a bit sceptical because it took awile to dry. Infact too long for me to really repair that part of the lip to perfection cosmetically (It will get scraped and crack again anyway). This stuff is so easy to use. Pretty much like painting it on. Make sure it penetrates though. Unlike epoxies, it actually bonds abs chemically. Look for it in the plumbing section. I can give a long term review but just by feel, it's as good as new.
